  Funding your Education
There are many great resources on the internet that can help fund your education.  Before searching on-line, however, the best place to start is the financial services center or career center at your university, which do a great job of providing information regarding various financial adi and fellowship opportunities.

Beyond these services, there are many websites that can also help.  The links to the right are to such websites.  In addition, the
Chronicle of Higher Education has a useful search feature to find fellowships.  Just type in "fellowships" in the search box and then filter the search by clicking on "Listing" under the "Content Type" heading on the left.  This will provide a listing of current fellowship applications and links to these sources.

Trying to find funding for specific research such as a thesis or dissertation can also be a difficult process.  Here is a link to a Guide for Writing a Funding Proposal, which provides tips.

Loans:

Many social work students can receive loans to fund their education. Here are links to useful websites with regard to loans and loan forgiveness.

FAFSA (application for federal student aid)

Mapping Your Future (financial information and forms)

Loan Forgiveness (specific page on Mapping Your Future site)
